I learned on a Yamaha Exciter 250 that I bought for $500. Dumped once. Put the blinker back on, fixed the headlight and sold it 30 days later for ......$500. Best investment, didn't want to scratch the Savage. But I guess it wouldn't have made a difference with all the customizing I've done, no one would know.
